A Certified Business Etiquette and International Protocol Consultant, Ms. Thomas began dispensing business etiquette advice more than 20 years ago at Tiffany & Co. where she was employed as a Corporate Account Executive. Ms. Thomas was often asked for advice not only about the correct gifts to give to international clients but also how to greet and entertain customers and how to build critical business relationships. Ms. Thomas studied business etiquette and protocol customs around the world, and shared the results of her extensive research with colleagues and clients alike. After eleven years at Tiffany & Co. as top sales producer, Ms. Thomas gained professional Business Etiquette and International Protocol certification in 1995 and founded Protocol Advisors, Inc.

Donna Bruno, Vice President of Sales and Marketing for Protocol Advisors, Inc., brings a wealth of professional experience and personal commitment to our organization. She is a graduate of The University of New Hampshire’s Whittemeore School of Business and Economics. Working with major hotels and private clubs, Donna has had an extensive and successful career in sales & marketing.
Most recently, she served as a consultant to small companies in the elder care industry. Her genuine sensitivity to the needs and concerns of others is a valued asset as she promotes treating all people with respect.

Donald J. Hannan, III is “The Wine Guy of Boston.” The development of Mr. Hannan’s expertise in wine dates back to an early age. His parents were wine collectors and importers, educating him in the nuances of fine wine, especially European varietals, while still a teen. He later worked as a server and assistant wine steward at such five-star restaurants as The Tack Room and Tanque Verde Guest Ranch in Tucson, Arizona.
Mr. Hannan continued his education in wine by traveling to major vineyards in Germany, France, South Africa and Italy. He was manager of the Prince of Wales Hotel in Lake Alberta, purchasing and maintaining a wine cellar worth more than a quarter of a million dollars.
Currently, Mr. Hannan maintains a 17th century farm house in a vineyard in the south of France, where he conducts wine seminars. His U.S. clients include such well-known entities as MIT Sloan School of Management, Fidelity Investments, Goldman Sachs, Brown Brothers Harriman and Sun Life Financial. He also conducts private tutorials.
